To reach your health goals, a personalised nutrition and lifestyle approach for the individual you are.
Here I explain a bit about my approach, clinic, and services.
First we send you a detailed questionnaire to fill out about your symptoms and journey to this point. I spend 30-60 minutes going through this before we meet.
In your first visit to 58 South Molton Street central London, I will be taking a medical history from you. My practice is based on Functional Medicine, an approach based on treating each person as an individual and getting to the root cause of health problems. That generally entails a detailed conversation about your current state of health, health history, family history, diet, lifestyle habits, etc. At that point, I will discuss with you potential approaches and recommended laboratory tests.
This visit will last approximately 60 minutes and is primarily an information gathering and sharing session. I may make some simple recommendations at this time. More detailed advice is rolled out at the second meeting after there has been time to analyse your case, and if you decide you would like to do any testing, see lab results.
I work with a range of testing companies in Europe and the US and this list changes as new tests become available. At the moment I am offering GI Effects stool testing by Genova Diagnostics, impaired intestinal permeability and food intolerance blood testing by Cyrex Labs, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) testing by Biolab. Sadly microbiome stool testing by Map my Gut is no longer available as the company has recently suspended services.
The second visit is generally scheduled 4 weeks later and can be either in person, by Skype or by phone. Here we will discuss what may be causing your health problems and what diet, and lifestyle changes may be needed. Follow-up visits are usually scheduled in approximately 4–8 weeks from this visit to evaluate progress and make any adjustments in your program.
How often we meet after that will depend on your case. Typically a course of work involves three to four sessions. More complex cases can be five to six.
To find out about working together, please get in touch. My assistant Fiona, or myself will contact you to arrange a 15-minute phone chat with one of us to find out what you are looking for help with, and if it sounds suitable for nutritional therapy.
Each one hour nutrition consultation: £195
A price list of the tests I have access to through my practice, and have been trained to interpret, are available on request.
We ask you to notify us who is your GP, or consultant, at time of booking, and permission to liaise with them if needed. Please note, nutritional advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment.
