About Me

I became a nutritional therapist after experiencing a burn out as a journalist on a national newspaper. Although I wouldn’t want to go through that again, I am grateful for the new direction this sent me in - to learn about nutrition science, and use it to help people.

I took a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Therapy at Westminster University in London. This taught me how to interpret the latest research and integrate its benefits into clinical practice, to help as many people as possible benefit from health science’s most cutting-edge advances.

I have more than 10 years’ experience delivering nutritional therapy most recently in Mayfair and Harley Street in central London, and post-pandemic online. I have supported hundreds of people to help themselves live life healthily and enjoyably. My work spans affordable group nutritional therapy workshops to designing and delivering 1-2-1 bespoke programmes for busy high flyers to be energised and resilient. I’m a keen professional writer - sharing nutrition news far and wide and am regularly interviewed about topics from menopause to lactose intolerance on radio, and TV and in newspapers and magazines.

Listen to Dr Rangan Chatterjee and me discussing time-restricted eating for IBS, diverticulitis, and ulcerative colitis, and the issues facing patients prescribed the low-fodmap diet.

It was great chatting to Eddie Nestor of BBC Radio London's Drivetime. We talked about whether full fat or low fat foods are better for us? (I’m on the full fat side of the debate by the way).

I loved chatting with Mara Schiavocampo on Good Morning America - with a table heaving with Gut Makeover goodies from kefir and Roquefort to bananas and potatoes - yes, they are all good for your gut!
